The Jazz Appreciation Forever Stamp was dedicated in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2011. Inspired by vintage jazz record album covers in Pasadena, Calif., artist Paul Rogers captured the spontaneity and improvisation of jazz musicians in his design for this stamp.
