The fact is, Gen Z is the fasting growing employee base so learning how to attract and retain the top talent from this sector will set your business up for success.
The expectations, demands and requirements are not what they were even six months ago. A new study of 13,488 people across 15 countries by communications company BCW identified what’s most important to people in their work experience.
In this survey, Gen Z reports culture and leadership are more important than salary. Across all generations, employees want leaders to be visible, fair, honest and effective.
Overall, leadership comes in ninth for respondents. But this too is nuanced. Gen Z ranks leadership as sixth in importance.
Similarly, open and honest communication by leaders is ranked fifth in importance, but for Gen Z it comes in as the second most important attribute of the work experience.
