Before Christ: Our Sinfulness (3:3)

• Before Christ, we were entrenched in our rebellion against God and enslaved to our desires.

After Christ: Our Salvation (3:4-7)

• After Christ, we are saved by His mercy, given new life through the Spirit, and justified by His grace.

Through Christ: Our Service (3:8)

• Through Christ, we are equipped and compelled to do good works for the sake of the Gospel.
