Context matters. A teen experiencing a moment of emotional distress may manifest itself in an irrational way. Fifteen minutes should not be the standard of care to issue a "diagnosis". In fact, it may be the first step towards a life of misery.

Dr. Rizwan Ahmad is a Licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania and Clinical Director at Center for Integrated Behavioral Health.

Dr. Ahmad specializes in working with adolescents (ages 12+) and adults of all ages, with expertise in the application of CBT for individuals struggling with a variety of mood, anxiety, and behavioral concerns.

On today’s podcast Roger, Sean and Dr. Rizwan Ahmad discuss the consequences of standard mental healthcare and the need for more evidence based therapy.
