The Falling Away: Are You Prepared for Apostasy? | Escaping Babylon E26

A sign leading up to the end times is apostasy, a rebellion, and a falling away within the church. Professing Christians will walk away from the faith and those who remain will face difficult times. We might be tempted to say, "That would never happen to me!" But we must be cautious. Do you have a strong foundation in biblical truth to stand firm in the midst of apostasy? Or like others, will you fall away?

In Matthew 24, Jesus warns, "many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other." The other apostles warned of this throughout the new testament as well. Apostasy will occur from within and from outside the church. Are you prepared?

Join us as we continue our end times study of eschatology and prophecy throughout the Bible. Jesus wanted us to be alert and aware of the coming apocalypse. He did not want us to be ignorant of the truth.

Next up... What is this gospel of the Kingdom Jesus talks about in verse 14. There are many gospels out there. Do we truly have an understanding of the central message of Jesus was and what he was inviting us into? I think the gospel of the Kingdom would surprise many Christians today.
