Welcome to Escaping Babylon where we are discovering what the Bible has to say about the end times, tribulation, second coming of Jesus, and the apocalypse. Jesus wanted us to be watching and waiting for his return.

We're going to tackle all of Revelation chapter three today and look at three churches: Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. One church put their faith and hope in the wrong things, another was challenged to endure through trials and conflict. The last church was neither hot nor cold and Jesus was going to spit them out of his mouth. In their wealth and comfort, they were ineffective and had blended with the culture.

Looking forward to moving on in Revelation. Next podcast, we'll look at the temple. There are numerous references to the Jerusalem temple throughout Revelation.
