Bird book reunites step brothers

Step brothers David Freedman and Richard Steele hadn’t seen each other for more than 50 years due to a family estrangement. However, when artist David needed a fellow bird enthusiast to write the text to go with his beautiful illustrations for Australia’s Birds in Watercolour, Richard was just the man.
