We speak with the Transgender Ally Collaborative. The Transgender Ally Collaborative was started out of the need for having Black and/or the overall LGBQIA+ community take more substantial steps in the protection, uplifting and success of their transgender family’s lives. This website serves as the space for resources, fundraisers for organizations with a transgender focus and movement building.

Then, we speak with the newly elected president of the Houston GLBT Political Caucus, Jovon Tyler. Founded in 1975, the Houston GLBT Political Caucus is dedicated to eliminating prejudice, violence, and injustice against gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people through education, activism, and political advocacy. Our goal is to create a world where all human beings are guaranteed freedom, equality, and opportunity.
