For the past five (9) years, The Queen City Awards were solely financed by myself, my friends, and my family. We wanted to take our time, build a successful event in order to prove to the city that The Queen City Awards where legitimate and here to stay.  Our hard work, sacrifice and dedication paid off this year when we received a proclamation from Mayor Anthony Foxx and the City of Charlotte making Saturday, December 8, 2012, “Queen City Awards Day.”

Teenage stars are rising to fame every day. They are no different from any other teen with talent except the fact they had an avenue in which to be seen. The “Next Big Teen” is your avenue.
