E165: Jason Young: Dedicated Teacher, Traveller, Reflective, Psi Chi Luminary

In this episode Eric interviews Jason Young from Hunter College in New York, NY.  Jason patiently describes that Hunter is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system, a senior college with 23,000 enrolled students on Manhattan's upper east side.  He shares his joy for teaching in-person classes, and his excitement for social psychology is evident. As an undergraduate, Jason takes a semester away (from the University of Maryland as a political science major) and goes to Indiana University, adds the psychology major there, and then completes his undergraduate education at Indiana. He discusses the disruptions of moving, of adding a major, and he shares his experiences attending graduate school at the University of Minnesota.  We chat about Psi Chi leadership experiences, his wonderful photography throughout New York City, and more.
