CLERICAL ABUSE (TRIGGER WARNING!) is devastating on many different levels - as are the other forms of abuse I have discussed in previous episodes. However, clerical abuse can affect the victim/survivor on a whole different, spiritual level - and even result in a total loss of faith. The breach of trust which is caused by clerical abuse is quite frankly monumental. In this episode I describe clerical abuse - physical, emotional, sexual and spiritual - from a very personal perspective, as a survivor. I share details of how clerical abuse affected me on a personal level; but also how it can affect the victim/survivor in general.
