In this episode, I interview type expert Linda Berens about the ethics of personality type instruments, the self-discovery process, and how to best use personality typology as a tool that doesn’t cause harm. 

Linda Berens, founder of Interstrength, has been working with the theory of personality types since 1975 and was even mentored by David Keirsey, founder of Keirsey Temperament Theory.

She has integrated Keirsey’s temperaments with the works of Carl Jung and MBTI and looks at the 16 holistic patterns of type through multiple lenses to help people find their best fit. Now, she offers a full curriculum for personality type practitioners and has written several books about typology.
