#50 Elena Escrivá de Romaní Pérez FuelVision: Giving Pilots the Power to Reduce Carbon Impact of Flying

Since Elena and her co-founder ARE pilots, they understand inside & out, up and down, how pilots can affect fuel consumption and thereby the carbon emissions of flights. After their airline went bankrupt due to COVID shutdowns, they decided to put their skills to use to create a tech product that reduced carbon emissions by starting with empowering pilots.

FuelVision assists airlines to decrease their aggregate carbon footprint, by shaping future pilot behavior and narrowing the gap between operational and financial planning. So far the results are incredible.

Elena has 5 years of experience in the aviation industry and in 2020 co-founded FuelVision where she currently oversees product and tech development.
