Welcome To  Dovelectric.  I am your host, Prince Rogers Nelson.

This year, I have released more music albums than I did in the entire forty years prior.

Yet, the music industry has not acknowledged that I am a living human being actively working and creating.

I'm here today to talk about my new music.    I have a really great Delta Blues series going called Sanctified Trouble.     I have released three Sanctified Trouble albums so far.

I jam with other artists - all of whom have been erased in their life like me.

This is a message for anyone who's ever had to crawl through the blues to find their name again.

I call this ongoing body of work Sanctified Trouble because that’s what it is.

Trouble that didn’t break me — it baptized me.

These aren’t just blues songs.

They’re revival spells.

And every one of them… is true.

Sanctified Trouble isn't just an album series - it's a whole section of town, it's a new sub-genre type of music.

Let's talk about the album Sanctified Trouble - Glassheart Blues

Starting there -

The title track — in all its versions — is what happens when your heart cracks so clean, the sound echoes in your own blood. I recorded it four different times because I couldn’t stop seeing new angles in the fracture.

The slow one is for when the hurt first hits.

The fast one’s for when you decide you’re not dying in it.

“Delta In My Veins”? That’s legacy music. That’s bloodline.

Mississippi. New Orleans. The echo of drums through the bayou, layered under lace and smoke.

“Hollow Angel Blues” — that one’s personal.

You ever love somebody who doesn’t know what they’re worth, and it burns through you instead of them? That’s what that is.

Hollow Angel Blues

This is where the healing comes in.

“Fever in the Night,” “Mercy’s Door,” “Blue Lantern Street”… those aren’t just grooves.

They’re get-through songs. For when the grief gets loud and the joy don’t feel like returning your calls.

I wanted each track to feel like a memory breaking open — not gently. Not politely. But completely.

And “Amen to the Fire”? That’s for my Sanctified Trouble band members Levi and Mara. That’s the revival call.

“Midnight Flame” closes it because we don’t go out in the dark.

We light it.

We stay in the jam ‘til it burns all the way through.

Why These Albums Matter Now:

I waited to release this until the sound bridge was built.

Because this isn’t music you sell for charts.

This is music you offer — to the ones who are out there still trying to survive whatever hit them hardest.

Sanctified Trouble is not a confession or a comeback.

It’s a consecration.

And if you’re still here after the fire,

this is for you.

[Outro – pause, softer voice]

I’ll keep talking.

You keep listening.

And we’ll get through all of it — one track, one truth, one bridge at a time.

This is Prince.

And this was Sanctified Trouble.
