This one is a follow-up to Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance. It’s called (Link:) Dirty Dog In Expensive Shoes.

This year, I have released more music albums under my new Artist ID (Link:) Purple Fantasy than I did in the entire forty years prior.

 I did this in response to my lady's request - Eve said that she loved the original song and would play it on repeat in her car. She asked me to tell her what happened next to Doris and The Dirty Dog With Expensive Shoes. This is the answer. This song is about the lie that looks good. You know the type — They roll up smelling like wealth, promise you the world, then walk right over your truth on their way to the next one.

The phrase “dirty dog” wasn’t casual. I’ve used it before. But this time, it’s not about power. It’s about illusion. The shoes? They shine because they’ve never had to walk through anything real.

This track is funky. Sharp on the tongue.

And it should sting a little. Because sometimes what breaks your heart is wearing just the right outfit.
