President’s Chapel 2017-2018 – Rev. Mike Cavanaugh – James Series Part V: Growth Through Relationship with Jesus

We continue our series through the book of James. The author of the book affirms that unhealthy conflict only produces destruction not growth. As Christians we are commanded to grow in Christ. Growth comes through an active relationship with Jesus. Unhealthy conflicts can be translated as sinful desires. This evil desire for power, control, pleasure, and more can hinder us from growth. In this message, Rev. Mike Cavanaugh encourages us to surrender those evil desires so that we can grow healthy in Christ.
