The Power of Singing in Harmony: Directing a Community of Singers

Welcome to Season TWO of the Power of Singing PODCAST! We are the Santosha Voice Group, five voice professionals from different walks of life who believe that singing, and the resulting music we make, is powerful and life-transforming. We'd love for you to join in!

Our topic for this season is: The Power of Singing in Harmony. Each of us will share our own personal stories and then share a recording of ourselves singing a song that illustrates our story. Each of us also has a question for the others on this same topic so we will have a little informal discussion following each song.

Our panel is made up of: Heather Fetrow (classical soprano from Washington D.C. area), Joseph Gárate (multi-genre tenor, songwriter, DJ from LA), Rich McKinney (former professional singer who lost his vocal cords due to agent orange exposure in Vietnam, currently pianist, conductor, composer), Joyce Wells (singer, songwriter, teacher and founder of "Enjoy your Sound"), and Susan Mohini Kane (former opera singer and college professor turned Indie Artist and voice teacher, founder of Santosha Voice Group LLC).
