Coming-of-Age: 'Cooley High' (1975) and 'SLC Punk!' (1998)

I guess this is growing up! Welcome to episode seven of our series about memory and the movies that made us. This week, we're talking about a bedrock genre of movies: coming-of-age films. And by coincidence, we've chosen two of our favorite movies from very different periods that follow an incredibly similar structure, 'Cooley High' and 'SLC Punk!'
