Growing as a Disciple
1 Peter 1:22-2:10
28 We know that all things work together for the good
of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
29 For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed
to the image of his Son, so that he would be the firstborn
among many brothers and sisters.
Romans 8:28-29
God uses every season of our lives to develop Christian maturity.
The Bible compares Christian maturity to the development of a person – some are infants, some adolescents, and some adults.
Wherever you are, whatever you are going through, you should be growing in your Christian faith.
2 Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word,
so that by it you may grow up into your salvation,
3 if you have tasted that the Lord is good.
I Peter 2-3
