Citizenship Test

Matthew 7:8-12

Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3:20

The Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’ teaching about what it means to be a citizen in the Kingdom of Heaven.  

The entrance test for the Kingdom of Heaven is complete, perfect righteousness.  

Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.

Matthew 7:7

ask, seek and Knock

All three actions (ask, seek, knock) require faith.

All three require to look outside of yourself for help.

This verse does NOT teach prosperity Gospel. 

how much more will your Father

Jesus invites us to call on Him for righteousness.

your next step

Publicly commit your life to Christ as Savior.

Follow Jesus in believer’s baptism.

Connect with a local church.

Trust Him to help you live for Christ.

do unto others 

The golden rule teaches us to love like God loves us.
