There are very few episodes left recorded.

We started Let`s Dance in 1984 (-!-) as a public event, only.
A Tea Dance Event:
produced and presented by me, Yours the producer Joe.

Untill the year 2000 we were live.
We did it in Erlangen, first, Nuremburg, London, Vienna, and than radio:

For Radio it is difficult to translate the demands of strictly dancers to the demands of listeners only. But we´vew found a solution in our unique mix. Hand-selected  !

From the first days we tried to mix pop with strict rhythms ! We were invited to many professional and amateur championats to do "our" dance music ! We didn´t play Hugo Strasser or Tony Evans 24/7 but included original tracks and sounds like those of Enya, Dean Martin,  and Sting ! Sometimes we had to re-edit (remix) the tracks in order to fullfill the bpm standards for compitions.

AND WE LOVE TO LEAVE OUR AUDIENCE GUESSING WHICH DANCE IS THIS .... !

In 2009, when we started Popmundial Radio,  it was a show of the "first days", later  on Radio 2, Pop2 Sounds / Soundsmundial

Now in late 2020 it will move to Popmundial Special

Still on Sundays 16 to 18h Paris !

Let´s Dance !

By the way: "Let´s Dance is not the title of a tv show, but the signiture (opening number) of Benny Goodman, one of the stars of the Swing Era, which we use here in a version reorded at Carnegie Hall, 1978, on its 40th anniversary of Benny´s first appearance there: it was the EVER FIRST CONCERT which brought together black and white artists in front of an white audience. 1938 !

LETS DANCE !

This is the complete  episode, recoreded live, NOT PRESENTED !

PS: we have a library of approx 15ooo tracks of strice  music to dance to, also pop tracks !

New weekly episodes:  POPMUNDIAL SPECIAL
Sundays 4pm - 6pm Berlin / 10am - 12 ET
