I was interviewed about my quality improvement work by my good friend Robin Pap - Paramedicine academic and QI thought leader...
I love QI.
Robin has been recording conversations with QI “experts” (I use inverted commas as I am certainly NOT an expert… more an enthusiast with a couple of projects that have had a decent impact) to share with his 3rd year paramedic students. It is part of a module they are studying called “Quality and Safety in Paramedicine”.
We cover: - Why I think clinical governance and quality improvement is cool - How I got involved in QI - The projects I have done which have (I think) had a significant impact on patients - QI tools/methodologies I've used - Some of the challenges encountered along the way - My advice to clinicians at the beginning of their QI journey
Here is the publication of the Coffee & Cases QI project I led on at Sydney HEMS.
Cheers all! Robbie @robbielloyd.bsky.social
