S2 Ep8 - Are We Evangelical?

The Launch Pod returns, this time from California! We are starting a new series of episodes addressing some of the common questions we get about Pomona Valley Church. 

To kick things off, we are talking about something that makes Pomona Valley Church unique: in the midst of embracing women in leadership and teaching, pursuing diversity as a community, and being fully-inclusive for LGBTQ+ people, we are still evangelical.

If that word trips you up, you are not alone. But we walk through the four markers that have historically characterized 'evangelicalism', and make the case that even if the word is challenging, we do still affirm those pillars (although we might nuance what we mean by each.)
