Daily Scripture readings, reflections and prayers today helps us to meditate and pray with the aid of today's readings at Mass and reflections from the gospel. The message is very clear - Jesus, Son of God was humbler yet to accepting death on a cross. We too in the same token, are invited to accepting the invitation to attend the great feast of the kingdom of heaven in the numerous ways we receive the invite in our lives. We must be vigilant to accepting the call and not make silly excuses like those in the gospel reading today.
