Today, we remember Jesus giving the Holy Spirit to his disciplines. To those like the disciples who are willing and are freely disposed, Jesus gives His Holy Spirit to strengthen them to accomplish the work he has commanded them, "As the father has sent me so am I sending you". He sends us the Holy Spirit to give us power, strength and grace to bring His love and compassion to the world - to the people we meet everyday.
