John 15:4–5 (NRSV)
Abide in Me as I abide in you.
Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine,
neither can you unless you abide in Me.
I am the vine, you are the branches.
Those who abide in Me and I in them bear much fruit,
because apart from Me you can do nothing.
I am in You, and You are in me.
Julian of Norwich
“Between God and the soul there is no between.
God is nearer to us than our own soul.
For we are in God and God is in us,
and that which is in God is whole.
He is the foundation,
and He is the substance and the very essence of our being.”
