PodPonder: June 28, 1969

The Stonewall Inn Manhattan’s Greenwich Village was a gay bar known as one of the only places in the city where queer people could dance and let loose with one another. On June 28th, 1969, at approximately 1:20 AM, New York City police department performed a raid of the Stonewall that quickly turned hostile.
