Podcast: Embracing Trans, Nonbinary, Intersex, and Gender Diverse People: A Fundamental Expression of UUism

As beloveds in our communities are scapegoated and attacked by the current administration, what does UUism call us to embrace and respond? As we turn toward Pride month, we will learn more about the UU commitment to pledge our collective faithful efforts to affirm and celebrate trans, nonbinary, intersex, and gender diverse people within and beyond out congregations.







Rev. Laura Smidzik is currently a part-time Pastoral Care Minister at First Universalist Church. She served Merging Waters Unitarian Universalist Congregation (previously Michael Servetus Unitarian Society) from 2016 until this past June. Prior to ministry, Laura served as executive director of Project 515 and Rainbow Families, two statewide LGBTQ organizations.
