DDW 2023: Aniek Bartels takes away the fear of a medical MRI scan at the Phillips Museum.

Aniek Bartels, illustrator & designer wants to help children to overcome the fear of having a MRI. In a creative way children can draw their own idea about the experience. Aniek has illustrated a book for the children during DDW to give them a new experience and achieve to be more calm and relaxed. The booklet is still available at het museum after DDW.

The connection is the Philips MRI scanner. This is the reason to present her project at the Philips Museum. Interview by Susan Smit, Radio 4 Brainport
