Kindred the show vs Kindred the novel. Is the book always better?

Is the book always better? That's not an easy question to answer. When you read a story, you see it from you point of view, and we tend to add a few details that aren't actually there. Sometimes, we completely ignore or forget details that are. But, when you watch a show or movie, you are seeing it from the creator's pov, and that can clash with yours.

So I don't know if Kindred the novel was better than Kindred the series. But I do know that the creators made some interesting choices and I'm ready to discuss!
