Season 01 Episode 17 "The Ethnic Tip" [Original Air Date: January 14, 1991]
Will becomes uninspired in history class and begins slacking off. When Aunt Viv and Uncle find out, they are not too pleased. Will has a suggestion: a spotlight on black history. With the school pushing back on the idea, Aunt Viv somehow ends up as the teacher! Carlton and Will are happy with this until they realize that Professor Viv and Aunt Viv are two different people. Now Carlton and Will in what should be an easy credit are fighting to stay on top of all of Professor Bank's assignments, and are counting down the days until the month is over.

When Granny hits her limit, she sneaks out of the house with Will to go to a Heavy D concert!
