Years ago, Dennis “The Dream” McAvoy was the wonder dog “wide retriever” of the Big City All Stars, leading them to a controversial NFL championship. But now, The Dream is over, and Dennis is a regular talking dog with a dead end office job and a lot of time on his paws. With his agent and best friend hounding him to find a post-retirement gig that would make them all rich, Dennis strikes up a new relationship with a charming co-worker who sees Dennis as the dog he wants to be.
