Rob Flux, property developer and head of the Property Developer Network, shares with us part of his framework on how he's able to anticipate the growth potential of areas.
He mainly looks at two things: indicators and drivers.
Indicators are metrics that reflect what has already happened in the market. They are used by most property investors to gauge past performance. Drivers are the factors that influence market movement and can indicate future trends.
There are 16 different drivers categorised into four main areas: - Government Incentives - Population Growth - Supply and Demand - Purchasing Power
By getting to know these four main areas, you can start to grasp a better understanding of how to gather information to make a decision on how you'll move forward with your property investing.
