Stroud Village Hall and Residents Association raised a profit at their Levels festival in July.
Overall though they are running at a small financial deficit but Katy Lace, the Manager, says they are whittling it down with community involvement and a fund raiser - a Harvest Hoedown on Friday 3 October.
Speaking to Mike Waddington, she talks about what's happening at the Village Hall, and how people can get involved with their activities - sport, kids club, pilates, yoga - as well as volunteering there.
Their Harvest Hoedown on Friday 3 October, not only promises a good night out and is also held at an important time in the farming calendar and she relates the help local farms provide them with.
Their AGM is on 23 September where they are looking for more trustees and also facing up to the challenge of reducing their small financial deficit.
