Personally Speaking ep. 78 (Carol Silva)

In this episode of Personally Speaking, Msgr. Jim Lisante is joined by former News12 Long Island anchor Carol Silva. Carol was the morning anchor for News12 for over 30 years, and announced her retirement in December, 2019. She’s won numerous awards including three Emmys and more than thirty “New York State Associated Press Awards” during her career. In 2019 Carol was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Carol credits her healing with her Catholic faith, family, friends, the medical treatment she received, and a positive attitude, instilled in her by her parents.
