In this episode of Personally  Speaking, Msgr. Jim Lisante is joined by best-selling author Alice McDermott. Alice is the author of nine novels including “Charming Billy”, winner of the National Book Award.  She has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize three times and is a professor of Humanities at Johns Hopkins University.  Her latest novel is called, “Absolution”,  which is about the lives of American wives on the margins of the Vietnam War. Alice talks about her life, her family, her Catholic faith, and her latest novel, “Absolution”.
