The body can be developed in many different ways. One of the main ways we can help our bodies is by strengthening it. And the main way to build strength in our bodies is to give it a reason to grow and become stronger! Without giving the body a reason to do this, it will not develop strength, size, or additional support.

In this episode, Gordon dives into the main way to build strength in the body: weightlifting. This includes many forms of weightlifting, and stressing the body through opposing forces or resistance. Included in this discussion are the many perspectives of weightlifting from people both within and outside the community.

There are a lot of opinions about weightlifting from those who have never done it, or developed a sour taste towards the subject due to some bad experience. The truth is, weightlifting in some form is really the only way to truly develop strength, muscle density, size, and a more supportive body.

Have you thought about, talked about, or even tried weightlifting and quickly discarded it as something you don't want to do for some reason or another? I encourage you to think again! Moving your body against the resistance of weight creates such a beautiful result in the way the body feels, the energy levels associated with it, and the aesthetic facade that comes with it. No one who has ever lifted weights and felt the positive effects has regretted it.

Aside from the discussion of positive effects, Gordon also talks about form, injury prevention, and other common topics from both beginners and experienced athletes alike.

This is a powerful episode, especially for beginners. Tons of value, and lots of great advice for people who are looking to transform their bodies and lives.
