This is called being comfortable. Comfort is a place that our brains like us to be in. The problem with comfort is that it keeps us stagnant. Yes, we're safe when we are comfortable BUT it is impossible for us to develop and reach our true potential when we are in that state.
When have you ever achieved anything truly GREAT by staying in your comfort zone and not challenging yourself? The answer is never.
When it comes to fitness, it can be hard to begin challenging yourself daily. It's a grind. It's annoying. It's taxing. However... every day that you make the decision to better yourself, you get one step closer to unlocking your true potential. You also get closer to enjoying the process of getting results and taking care of your body.
All those times you did something good for your body, how good did that make you feel afterwards? Well imagine having that feeling EVERY DAY, and experiencing it so often that it's something you habitually learn to expect based on your daily habits.
That is what a fitness lifestyle really is. And you can have it, all you need to do is embrace the fact that you need to step way outside your comfort zone, repeatedly, for a long time.
