Eating for health or eating for weight loss?


Are they always necessarily the same thing?


Nope!


In this episode, Gordon dives into the difference between understanding macronutrition and micronutrition, their differences, and why they are NOT necessarily both relevant for weight loss. A lot of people think substituting their fast food and pizza with a ton of bananas, pineapple, whole grain bread, cage free eggs, almonds, etc, is going to lead directly to weight loss.


While this is a good move for "health" reasons, it's not going to be the thing that gets you weight loss results.


You need to understand macros, how the body works, and not go all in on something like Intuitive Eating or Mindful Eating UNTIL you understand the body and how it works with macros.
