Chances are you're already aware that our bodies are mostly all water.

Just in case you DIDN'T know - your body is somewhere around 60% water. This is slightly lower for women, around 55% due to extra fat storage.

But what does this mean? If we cut open our bodies does water come rushing out? Of course not. This whole thing about our bodies being 60% water is at the cellular level. Water is in our cells and helps do ALL kinds of things for us (which are all positive benefits).

In this episode, I go over 5 very important points about hydration. My main objective is to get you to understand the biggest benefits of drinking more water, how much you SHOULD be drinking and why.

The 5 points discussed are:

  1. How often are we actually dehydrated? What does that mean? How does thirst play a role?
  2. How the intake of water, and keeping that 60% number maintained really helps us achieve efficiency. What does this mean?
  3. How the body's RMR (resting metabolic rate) is affected by maintaining hydration
  4. How gym/workout/athletic performance is affected by maintaining hydration.
  5. My favorite - MINDSET! How hydration affects the mood and perspective.

This one can be a real game changer if you're not taking hydration seriously. It could literally be the missing link between where you're at with your fitness goals and where you want to be.

Give it a listen and, as usual, if you got value out of this PLEASE let a review on iTunes and don't forget to rate and subscribe :)

Lastly, throw this episode over to a like-minded friend and have them check it out. Nothing shows more appreciation than helping educate someone on living a better, longer, healthier life.
