Heather Kalous is a high school PE teacher who believes kids need 2 skills to be successful in life: to know how to read and to be a good human. She teaches the latter through exercises and by example. You'll love hearing about:

• her Character and Leadership Class
• how she brings in community leaders for collaborations and teaching moments
• opportunities to prepare for life lessons, including an exercise where students write letters to someone important in their lives
