What it takes to run the Traverse City Comedy Festival.

I talk with Traverse City Comedy Fest Co-Producer Ann Duke, and Production Director Alana Gonzalez.  Ann co-produce the festival with fellow comic and partner in SamRose Entertainment, Michael Geeter. We talk about what goes into running one of the biggest comedy festivals in Michigan. Man, that shit ain’t easy! 
They talk about booking some of the biggest headliners in the country and how much fun many comics had hanging and partying with them in 2023!
Alana and Ann both agree that selecting the comedians is the toughest part of the job and discuss the backlash they received. Despite all that, they still love it and are so excited for the 2024 festival!
