“China’s Premier Xi Jinping Reshaping of the People’s Liberation Army” - Video Summary

Chinese leader Xi Jinping is using his anti-corruption campaign as less of a way to eliminate corruption but to strengthen the political reliability of the PLA and has re-introduced the role of the political officer to in further pursuit of that goal despite potentially compromising the PLA’s effectiveness with peer adversaries.  It asks the question of why do this?
