Beverly Carradine was an itinerant preacher during a golden era known as the holiness movement in America (late 19th, early 20th centuries). He loved to write. In Pastoral Sketches, he shares some incredible stories in a style that could easily be compared to Mark Twain...if Mark had carried a Bible.
