Welcome to “The Foundery” – Where Leaders are Forged Daily!
This week George Roberts gives an exciting rundown of what makes him tick as an entrepreneur, what inspires him and his "aha" moment that led him to the conclusion that he needed to focus on entrepreneurship, investing and passive income. He describes the pride and awe of seeing a subdivision rise from the earth and how he and his sister, Christa were able to honor their father by naming a street after his hometown.
George discusses Walnut Grove Homes, a residential builder in Troy, Michigan and Horizon Multifamily, a commercial multifamily real estate acquisitions company. George also owns multifamily as well as single-family real estate.
The word "Foundery" is more than a play on the word "founder", it also makes the title of this podcast unique. As a real estate entrepreneur, I will generally focus on multifamily real estate and construction, but will be sure to include plenty of other types of entrepreneurs to keep it interesting!
