I'm glad we had a chance to watch Fantasia 2000 on its own. When we started this series, the very first episode was for the original Fantasia - but on accident I started watching Fantasia 2000 and was disappointed. However the final animations of the movie are well worth it.
Plus, with over 40 of these episodes for context, there was so much more to discover beneath the surface of the scenes of this movie. It's unfortunately edited together with very awkward clips and cameos. Plus, one of the most occult shorts "Destino" by Salvador Dali, wasn't included (it wasn't finished in time for release apparently). We cover that unreleased short as well, since it belongs here.
