Occult Disney #11: Sleeping Beauty

The elements of Sleeping Beauty date back as early as the 8th century. The 9th Captain's Tale (8th-13th century), Troylus and Zalladine (14th century), Perceforest (1528), Pentamenrone's Sun, Moon and Talia (1634), Sleeping Beauty in the Wood (1697), and too many others to list.
Sleeping Beauty is just as deep with syncretism and mythology than any Greek or Roman pantheons (and in fact probably an extension of them). One of my favorite episodes and one worth a rewatch for sure!
