Today on the 5: In the most recent episode of AI Inside, Jason Howell and Jeff Jarvis covered a story about an upcoming beta from Audible that would allow audiobook narrators to create AI versions of themselves. These synthetic voice models could then be licensed by authors to read their books while compensating the narrators. This seems shockingly fair, especially coming from Amazon.
