"The fortune is in the follow-up"
Skylar Topham is currently the co-founder of smartclinic.io, a software in the works that will help hearing practitioners run a far more efficient practice. He’s an avid reader and a surfer living 450 miles inland. While most are keeping up with the Kardashians, and listening to Maclamore, he’s reading to stay current in his craft (sales and marketing) and drives around pumpin' podcasts. He and his small team also work for a handful of companies, helping them overhaul their digital experience. His teams most recent win was taking an existing business and increasing its revenue by over $200,000 in three months. His credo? Clarity is king.
1. Raising your prices.

2x 5x 10x pricing

2. Increasing average transaction size. Try to get each customer to purchase more.
Study a carwash (tire shine, matt clean, undercarriage)
Costco
Godaddy's checkout
3. Increasing the frequency of transactions per customer.
Service industries (call loop) (email)

4. Increasing the number of customers. (hardest to do)
1. Value Creation
Every successful business creates something of value.
Constantly ask, what do they really want?
2. Marketing
Offering value isn’t enough. If no one knows (or cares) about what you have to offer, it doesn’t matter how much value you create.
Proudly exclude some people
Organize your outreach > Build a media list > people with your audience
Present a clear message that provokes emotion. (good writing)
Give something away your audience really wants in exchange for their information.
3. Sales
Every successful business ultimately sells what it has to offer.
