2023 WEEK 48 [1-3 JOHN; JUDE] INSIGHTS NOTES
“We Are Responsible for Our Own Learning”
November 27 – December 3
WEEK 48: SUMMARY
John the Beloved and Jude the half-brother of Jesus wrote their epistles at a time of great confusion. Many were teaching false doctrines about the nature and mission Jesus Christ. John was a witness of the Messiah. He walked with Him, learned from Him, and knew of His divine sacrifice firsthand. Although he could have spoken about the miracles of Jesus, he chose to focus on His love and light and His desire to offer salvation to all who would receive it.
On the creative side of week 48, we'll teach about the Initiatory portion of the Endowment and create a tracker to help us accomplish our 2024 temple attendance goals. Next, we'll play a high-speed dice game to help us learn about inherent blessings of our stewardships. Finally, we'll create fuzzy cozies for our favorite hot cocoa mugs in order to learn about the risks of separating from the sources of truth.
